Yes. Prescription drugs are one of the most powerful tools of modern medicine. They are critical healers in the toolkit, and we prescribe them regularly. Some medications, however, do require management by specialists, and are not appropriate for our providers to prescribe.All of our doctors have been trained in conventional allopathic or osteopathic medical schools, physician assistant schools, or nursing schools. They are licensed to practice medicine in their state, and have state DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) licensing to allow for prescribing pharmaceutical medication. As such, prescription drugs are a key part of our care, and we believe they are powerful and essential tools in modern medicine. However, we cannot prescribe controlled substances or scheduled medications.
